I am part of Consideo, and with the Consideo iMODELER we offer extremely intuitive software for qualitative and quantitative cause-and-effect modeling.

The iMODELER was designed using the Idealized System Design approach. Its method of displaying models from selectable perspectives follows bionic principles.

Exploratory modeling utilizes the four questions of the KNOW-WHY method.

The weighting and qualitative analysis with insight matrices is comparable to the concept of Fuzzy Cognitive Maps—only much more meaningful.

Quantitative modeling is based on System Dynamics—but it is even more powerful.

A special feature is the PROCESS-iMODELER, which allows processes and projects to be easily assembled by clicking, and then highlights bottlenecks in the sense of the Theory of Constraints.

The iMODELER is available as a free web version, among other options. Only for the very powerful collaborative and quantitative modeling features is a license required.
